I am a filmmaker, not a videographer. I treat weddings like small documentaries. I interact with the guests if appropriate and always film with a handheld camera, which gives me more freedom to move around and adds a 'fly on the wall' style.

"Wedding videos" are known for being long and boring and have gone straight to the cupboard after the first viewing. Using skills and techniques from the TV industry along with new digital technology, it has been possible to reinvent wedding films.

I believe that your wedding day belongs to you, and that the camera should be as least intrusive as possible. I capture natural reactions and emotions because you forget that I am there. The ability to blend in to the background is a key factor in the way I work.

The editing process is the most important part of filmmaking. This is where many wedding videographers cut corners. Putting emotional images together with music is a creative and time-consuming process. I spend a minimum of 3 days cutting a wedding film together. It's edited with music chosen by you and then filters are added which makes it look like film.
